Privacy policy

What we collect

• Name, email address and message, if you use the contact form
• Anonymous visit data — pages viewed, referrer and device type — via Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies or track you across other sites

Where it goes

• Contact form submissions are sent to Formspree, Inc. (a US-based form-processing service) and forwarded to Forme's own inbox. Formspree do not receive anything beyond what you type into the form.
• Analytics data is processed by Cloudflare and is never shared, sold, or matched back to you personally.
• Your data is never sold, and is not used for advertising.

How long we keep it

• Contact form submissions stay in Forme's email inbox for as long as we are talking, and are deleted within 12 months of the last message if the enquiry does not become a project. If it does, the correspondence is kept for the life of the project and for 7 years afterwards, because Australian tax and business record-keeping rules require it.
• A copy also sits in Formspree's own dashboard until it is deleted there. We clear that dashboard at least every 90 days.
• Cloudflare Web Analytics data is anonymous, is never linked to a submission, and is retained by Cloudflare on their own schedule — there is nothing in it that identifies you to delete.

Data sent overseas

• Contact form submissions are processed in the United States by Formspree, Inc. Sending a message through the form is a disclosure of your name, email address and message to a recipient outside Australia.
• Cloudflare processes analytics data on a global network, so it may be handled outside Australia. It is anonymous and is not matched back to you.
• If you would rather nothing left Australia, email Forme directly instead of using the form — the address is on this page and in the footer of every page.

Complaints

If you think Forme has mishandled your personal information, email oscarkallis@outlook.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can refer the complaint to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
